Google Adds Scientific Calculator to Search Bar
.
The search giant Google launched a scientific calculator on Wednesday.
The company's new 34-button calculator appears the moment you type in the word "calculator" or a mathematical expression say "4x5" into the search box.
The calculator has a total of 32 buttons and quickly solves even the most complicated problems. The calculator is designed to be used for both desktop computers and mobiles users. Once the tool appears on your gadget, it works quite rapidly to give you answers for algebraic calculations.
Not just this, Users can also use Google's voice search feature -- found in mobile version and inChrome browser -- to do calculations without actually touching keyboard. Try using the calculator with Google's Desktop Voice Search.
Click on the microphone and say the equation you'd like to solve. Google will display results for questions such as "What is the square root of 144?" You can also simply say "calculator" to launch the scientific calculator function.
Google has long embraced mathematics in its search bar, and it appears to be pushing the company's appreciation for math farther into the future. The search bar was already capable of performing graphing functions.
Is there any other mathematical functions you'd like to see Google add to the Google search bar?
