Send Photos as Real Postcards in Facebook

Facebook is reportedly testing a new feature called 'Mail A Postcard', which allows users to turn their photos on the social networking website into real postcards and have Facebook send it to their friends. Facebook will be charging users a small fee for the service, though the company is currently working on different price points.

Facebook's new service is currently available for select users only. Other details of the feature are still sketchy and Facebook has yet to release an official confirmation about it.

Sending postcards this way isn't free, but Facebook hasn't decided exactly how much the feature will cost when it's finally rolled out to all of its users. It's reportedly testing a variety of price points now, so hopefully we'll hear more about this novel feature soon.

Just like a traditional postcard, the photo will be displayed on the front of the card, and you can type a personalized message to your friend on the backside. Postcards will allow you to type in your friend’s address if you know it, or ask him or her for their physical address is you don’t.

The service is powered by Sincerely, the company behind Postagram, an app that allows you to send Instagram photos as postcards using an app on your phone for $.99.
